Just finished reading this awesomely wonderful story. Once I started I could not but it down until I was finished.Claudia, Mack and Ryker.....*happy sigh*
This is just a feel good kind of read that leaves you with a smile on your face. I loved the fact that the characters from the first 2 books made an appearance. Good thing to because our heroine and her men needed some guidance.
If I have one complaint it was that I wanted more but as I have stated in my other reviews that is my issue, I am just greedy that way...haha!!
All of 3 of these books are truly wonderful and I have no problem reading again and again. Thank you Ms. Lori for an awesome trilogy. I would not at all object to a novella later just to see how my favorite people are doing....*wink*

Claudia is a no nonsense, smooth taking real estate investor looking to better the community by building a upscale subrb in the small ranching community of Stone River. But while the community rejects her, Claudia has a chance meeting with Mack at the Garden Hut. This leads her to meet Ryker. I won't give away the twist and turns of this relationship, but the brothers may or may not even come to blows over their love. But they do say making up is even sweater, which may be the case in the end with these three.
I really liked the third book to Stone River Texas.... You really feel bad for Ryker yahh I wanted to smack him a few times but to see under his bad mood you fall in love with him too as much as I did .... read as the two brothers Mack and Ryker Thompson can they learn to share Claudia who is looking for herself after a miss understanding with her dad who is a real estate tycoon. Read as they all learn to follow their heart and try to see if they can all love and be a happy family . Loving her books she puts so much soul and feelings into her books I get lost in the people and the story's ... Enjoy I sure did.
This is a great series. I can't wait to read the next one. Claudia is in town to help seal the deal for her fathers real estate development project. She must succeed in order to show her father that she can handle the business when he retires. Mack and Ryker are trying to put their lives back together after each has suffered a failure in their life. Mack has accepted his failure and moved on. Ryker refuses to accept his and drinks to much. Claudia wants both brothers, but can they put aside their unwillingness to share to make her happy? Can they become the next menage family in the small Texas town?
Loved this book, and the amazing characters. Following them through their story as they learn acceptance of what life gives you and making it work for you in your life. Following your passion to find your happiness while learning to love completely without judgement to get to you happy ever after. It was an awesome journey to take with these characters and I highly recommend reading this book by the great Lori King!
Claudia Schmidt came to Stone Ridge to make her dad proud and get the new development accepted. When things didn't turn out it turned out to be a better blessing. Claudia had fell in love with the town. Met two new friends and fell for two brothers Mack and Ryker.
Mack never though he would find love. Nor did he think it would be in a classy rich girl who had spunk and Sass. Ryker heard his brother talking about a hot woman that took his breathe away. He couldn't believe it till he fell under her spell like his brother.
Can all three of them form the bond of ménage and. be happy? Can Claudia learn that all her daddy wants is her happiness?
Loved the book. I dont cry reading books often but this one did that for me and in a good way. Sorry to see the trilogy end. Each book is a stand alone and have HEA endings. Reading in order only helps each book come together. Love getting a peak into everyones life that reappear. Everyone has ups and downs in life and no matter how hard your life is or if you had an easy upbringing like the heroine had there is always the need to prove yourself to someone and this book does a great job overcoming their obstacles, plus hot sexy cowboys and menage you cant go wrong.
I really enjoyed reading book three in the Surrender Trilogy, all about Mack & Ryker Thompson who are brothers & Claudia Schmidt who is trying to turn Stone River into a small upscale suburb of Austin, Texas by building luxury mini-mansions. Mack runs into Claudia at the Garden Hut, she's contemplating which bug spray to buy to rid her rose bush of the little buggers that have infested it. He gives her advice, and then ask's her out on a date for that night, at the local bar in town. The author did a great job on telling a story, and the characters really cultivated it and sold said story. Read this book, it will make you laugh, make you mad and will make you cum a bit! Both of the brothers are stubborn and obtuse, but they have certainly met their match with Claudia, since she is exactly just like them with the same attributes. I just hope the author writes another story about Stone River so we can see how things work out with all the different families. Enjoy reading this book, but make sure you read the first two books first, and then,sit back and enjoy getting wet and laughing!
